Tashkent, Uzbekistan, November 3, 2025: The National Olympic Committee of Uzbekistan has sincerely congratulated all federations and associations, athletes and coaches on achieving outstanding results at the 3rd Asian Youth Games which ended in Bahrain last Friday, October 31.
Uzbekistan finished second in the overall medal standings with a total of 81 medals, including 37 gold, 16 silver, and 28 bronze medals. China topped the standings with 147 medals, including 63 gold.
“Our delegation achieved a historic result,” the Uzbekistan NOC posted on its Facebook page. “At the 1at Asian Youth Games, we won just three bronze medals, and at the 2nd Games won one gold, two silver, and three bronze. This time our numbers were much more significant.”
The NOC added: “It is no exaggeration to say that behind such a result lies the great attention and care that our esteemed President pays not only to the elite athletes, but also to youth sport.”
With Tashkent hosting the 4th Asian Youth Games in 2029, finishing second in the medal standings takes on added significance.
