Princess Sara to lead Jordan delegation of 120 athletes to Bahrain AYG

Amman, Jordan, October 10, 2025: Her Royal Highness Princess Sara bint Feisal will lead a 120-strong Jordanian athlete squad to the 3rd Asian Youth Games in Bahrain from October 22-31.

 

HRH Princess Sara, Deputy Director of the Olympic Preparation Programme at the Jordan Olympic Committee, on Wednesday, October 8, chaired a meeting held by JOC with the delegations of the Bahrain AYG and the Islamic Solidarity Games in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia from November 7-21.

 

At the meeting Princess Sara expressed her confidence in the ambition and dedication of the athletes participating in the upcoming events, calling for maintaining discipline and commitment to achieving “the best possible” results and representing Jordan “honourably”.

 

Jordan will take part in 19 sports at the AYG – handball, volleyball, MMA, taekwondo, basketball, muay thai, golf, boxing, athletics, triathlon, cycling, esports, swimming, wrestling, judo, jiu-jitsu, equestrian, camel racing, and kurash.

 

Also present at the meeting were JOC Vice President Jihad Qutaishat and JOC Secretary General Rana Al-Saeed.
