New Delhi, India, October 1, 2025: The Indian Olympic Association has expressed its deepest condolences as it mourns the passing of former IOA President V.K. Malhotra.
Malhotra passed away on Tuesday, September 30, from age-related ailments. He was 93.
Indian archery’s godfather, Malhotra was made acting president of the Indian Olympic Association from April, 2011 to December, 2012. He eventually became a Life President of the IOA.
“Everyone at IOA mourns the loss of former IOA President V.K. Malhotra. Our thoughts are with his family and friends at this difficult time,” the IOA posted on social media.
