Tashkent, Uzbekistan, September 25, 2025: Oybek Kasimov, Secretary General of the National Olympic Committee of Uzbekistan, met with Hungarian Ambassador to Uzbekistan, Jozsef Rozsa, to discuss cooperation in the field of sports between the two countries.
Both parties exchanged views on prospects for implementing joint projects in sports, especially in aquatic and team sports in Uzbekistan
The Hungarian Ambassador noted the significant achievements of Uzbek sports in recent years and expressed readiness to support the further development of bilateral cooperation.
In turn, Kasimov emphasised that studying Hungary’s experience in sport could positively influence the development of team and aquatic sports in the country.
The meeting also addressed opportunities for organising friendly matches between national teams, joint training camps, and the exchange of specialist coaches.
