Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, September 22, 2025: The Olympic Council of Malaysia has announced the appointment of Ms. Farah Ann Abdul Hadi as the Chef de Mission of the Malaysian contingent to the 3rd Asian Youth Games in Bahrain from October 22-31, 2025.
This appointment, made in collaboration with the National Sports Council, reflects a shared commitment to entrusting the Malaysian contingent with a young and dynamic sports leader, whose extensive international experience and outstanding achievements are expected to inspire and motivate the nation’s young athletes.
A gymnast, Farah Ann made her mark at the Southeast Asian Games winning a total of 12 medals – 7 gold, 2 silver and 3 bronze – across four games, 2011, 2015, 2017, and 2019.
Farah Ann also represented Malaysia at the Asian Games in 2014 and 2018, and the Commonwealth Games in 2010, 2014, and 2018.
An illustrious career reached its pinnacle when she qualified for the Tokyo Olympics in 2020, making her only the fourth Malaysian gymnast to compete on the Olympic stage.
