OCA successfully concludes 3rd TV Audit Meeting for 2026 Asian Games

Nagoya, Japan, August 31, 2025: The Olympic Council of Asia successfully concluded its 3rd TV Audit Meeting for the 20th Asian Games Aichi-Nagoya in Nagoya this week.

 

The two-day audit meeting on August 27-28 reviewed all facets of operations and the progress made by the Aichi-Nagoya Asian Games Organising Committee (AINAGOC) for the September 19-October 4, 2026 showpiece.

 

Special focus was placed on the bidding process for the Host Broadcaster with AINAGOC having already spelled out the duties, role and responsibilities of this key role.

 

Thanking AINAGOC for attending the meeting, OCA TV Auditor Dan Hubp said: “Everything is on track and we are assured that the TV production will be of the highest quality. I’m confident that the level of organisation will be very high.”

 

Both OCA and AINAGOC also discussed preparation for the 1st World Broadcasters Meeting (WBM) and the World Press Briefing (WPB). The WMB will be held from October 7-8 and the WPB on October 9-10 in Nagoya.

 

The 20th Asian Games will feature 41 sports with an estimated 15,000 athletes and team officials from all 45 Asian National Olympic Committees participating.
