Kuwait City, Kuwait, September 1, 2025: The Olympic Council of Asia will conduct a Sports Arbitration Regional Seminar in Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates on October 11-12, 2025.
The progressive initiative by the OCA is aimed at National Olympic Committees in West Asia, Central Asia and South Asia.
An official invitation from OCA Director General Husain Al Musallam was sent out to all NOCs last Saturday, August 30. The deadline for registration is September 25, 2025.
This seminar represents a unique opportunity to introduce and expand the role of sports arbitration.
“We believe this initiative will help build capacity among Asian NOCs by giving their lawyers and legal professionals the chance to become more actively involved in the international sports movement,” the OCA stated.
“By participating, your National Olympic Committee will be able to nominate a legal expert who can engage with distinguished speakers and regional arbitration centres, gain first-hand knowledge of best practices, and contribute to strengthening governance and integrity,” the OCA added.
