1st World Broadcasters Meeting and World Press Briefing for Aichi-Nagoya 2026 Asian Games in October

Nagoya, Japan, August 29, 2025: The Aichi-Nagoya Asian Games Organising Committee (AINAGOC) has invited the world’s media and broadcasters to the 1st World Broadcasters Meeting and World Press Briefing in Japan from October 7-10, 2025 for the 20th Asian Games next year.

 

An invitation was issued to all 45 Asian National Olympic Committees on Thursday, August 28, informing them that the 1stWorld Press and Broadcasters Briefing for the 20th Asian Games will be held at the Port Messe Nagoya Event Hall in Aichi Prefecture.

 

The Aichi-Nagoya 2026 Asian Games will be held from September 19 to October 4, 2026.

 

The four-day briefing will commence with the World Broadcasters Meeting, on October 7-8, followed by the World Press Briefing on October 9-10.

 

Both meetings will highlight the latest updates on broadcast, media services, facilities, transportation, logistics, and other preparatory work from AINAGOC.

 

The world’s media and broadcasters will also visit venues and other facilities, and also be taken on a city tour by the organising committee.

 

AINAGOC has requested NOCs to compile the ‘1st World Press Briefing Application Form’ submitted by their respective media and send them to the Press Operations Team on press@aichi-nagoya2026.org by September 3, 2025. If a visa is required, AINAGOC will issue invitation letters to expedite visa applications for a single short stay visa to enter Japan. 

 

An accommodation fee of Japanese Yen 15,000 per night will be charged.
