Bangkok, Thailand, August 25, 2025: Thailand, as hosts of the 2025 SEA Games, held the 1st Chef de Mission Seminar at The Grand Fourwings Convention Hotel, Bangkok from August 19-22.
Assistant Professor Pimol Srivikorn, President of the National Olympic Committee of Thailand, Colonel Ekkachaiphak Siriwat, Chief Executive Officer of the Southeast Asian Sports Federation, and Dr. Kongsak Yodmanee, Governor of the Sports Authority of Thailand officiated at the opening ceremony.
Representatives from the 11 member nations, along with the 33rd SEA Games Organising Committee, Secretary General Thana Chaiprasit of the Thailand NOC, and other senior NOC officials participated.
The main focus of the meeting was to provide an update on the progress of preparations for the SEA Games, including addressing questions and suggestions for ensuring the smooth running of the Games which will be held from December 9-20.
The Games will be held across three main provinces – Bangkok, Chonburi and Songhkla.
