Sanya, China, August 21, 2025: A two-day OCA Coordination Committee Meeting for the 6th Asian Beach Games was successfully concluded on Wednesday, August 19, in Sanya, China.
The OCA was represented by Mohammed Tayyab Ikram, FIH President and President of the 6th Asian Beach Games Coordination Committee, Vinod Kumar Tiwari, Deputy Director General, Wissam Trkmani, Director NOC Relations & Development, Song Luzeng, Chair Sports Committee, and Ding Ning, Chair Athletes Committee.
The hosts were represented by Sanya Asian Beach Games Organising Committee Vice President Xie Jing, who is also the Vice Governor of Hainan Province, Chen Tiejun Deputy Secretary General SABGOC and Director General of Tourism, Culture, Radio, TV & Sports of Hainan Province, and Zou Jiaming, Deputy Secretary General SABGOC and Deputy Secretary General of Sanya CPC Committee.
The Mayor of Sanya, Chen Zi, who is also the Secretary General of SABGOC was in attendance as were GA of Sport of China officials Song Xueying (Deputy Director General of External Affairs), who is also the Deputy Secretary General of Chinese Olympic Committee, and Kang Ping (Deputy Director General of Competitive Sports.
The two-day meeting reviewed all aspects of the Games - to be held from April 22-30, 2026 - with special focus on the Masterplan, Sports Programme, IT solutions, medical and anti-doping measures, marketing, protocol, legacy and sustainability.
Both parties reaffirmed their commitment to delivering a world-class event.
