Tehran, Iran, August 21, 2025: The National Olympic Committee of the Islamic Republic of Iran held a training course familiarising coaches with the ADEL platform ahead of the Asian Youth Games in Bahrain from October 22-31.

The two-day course on August 16-17 was held at the National Olympic Academy and conducted by experts from the Iran National Anti-Doping Organisation (Iran NADO), with 26 federation representatives from judo, Muay Thai, handball, kabaddi, and 3x3 basketball in attendance.

Participants were introduced to the latest anti-doping rules and regulations, registered on WADA’s ADEL system and completed an online module to obtain certification.

In line with the OCA’s regulations, athletes and coaches at the Bahrain Asian Youth Games must hold a valid ADEL anti-doping certificate to be eligible for accreditation and receive their Games ID cards.

The Anti-Doping Education and Learning (ADEL) is a comprehensive WADA platform that hosts webinars, online courses, guides, checklists, factsheets, and other resources.
