Amman, Jordan, August 12, 2025: The Jordan Anti-Doping Organisation (JADO) has signed a MOU (Memorandum of Understanding) with the Korea Anti-Doping Agency (KADA) aimed at strengthening collaboration and exchanging expertise in the fight against doping in sports.
The agreement was signed in Amman by Professor Kamal Al-Hadidi, President of both JADO and the West Asia Regional Anti-Doping Organisation (WARADO) and member of the OCA Medical and Anti-Doping Committee, and Dr. Yang Jun Yang, President of KADA.
The signing ceremony was attended by Ms. Seo Min Jeon, representing KADA, and Ms. Nadiah Al-Shamali, Acting Manager of the OCA Medical and Anti-Doping Committee.
The MOU focuses on developing capabilities, building competencies, and implementing joint training camps to enhance the skills and knowledge of anti-doping professionals.
Professor Al-Hadidi expressed his pride in the partnership, describing it as a “strategic step to advance Jordan’s anti-doping efforts and support the region”. He highlighted that JADO had recently hosted a KADA delegation to deliver a regional educational training programme attended by representatives from Yemen, Iraq, Syria, Palestine, Lebanon and Bahrain.
Professor Al-Hadidi also underscored the importance of such partnerships in supporting both the national and international anti-doping efforts. He noted that the agreement will be in effect until 2028, giving it a long-term strategic scope that will contribute significantly to the development of the anti-doping sector in Jordan and across the region.
