Thimphu, Bhutan, July 24, 2025: A delegation from the Bhutan Olympic Committee led by Secretary General Sonam Karma Tshering visited an ongoing High Altitude Training Camp at the Thimphu Aquatic Centre on Monday, July 21.
The BOC met with athletes and coaches at the high altitude training camp which is a collaboration between the Bhutan Aquatics Federation and Sport Authority of India Glenmark Swimming Academy.
The camp is focusing on enhancing performance and technical skills by leveraging Thimphu’s high-altitude advantage.
The BOC posted: “We warmly welcome the team from SAI Glenmark Swimming Academy and truly appreciate the strong sporting ties between India and Bhutan which continue to foster growth, exchange of knowledge and friendship through ties like this.”
