Nagoya, Japan, July 23, 2025: No school bag or backpack is quite complete in Japan without at least one cute and cuddly attachment.
So, in the coming days, expect to see a popular new addition to the wide range of swinging accessories around Nagoya city and Aichi prefecture in particular – none other than Asian Games mascot Honohon!
The Aichi-Nagoya Asian Games Organizing Committee (AINAGOC) has announced that the Honohon tiger-fish doll has been added to the officially licensed merchandise in the form of bag attachment or key holder.
The product, which can fit in the palm of your hand, will really add colour and cuteness to daily swinging life in Japan, as well as promoting the 20th Asian Games, which will run from September 19 to October 4, 2026.
“Now you can take Honohon with you to various places,” AINAGOC said, in announcing the new merchandise.
