Malaysia NOC Deputy President receives distinguished academic doctorate

Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, July 23, 2025: The Olympic Council of Malaysia has congratulated Datuk Wira Dr. Nur Azmi Ahmad, Deputy President of OCM, on being conferred the Professional Doctorate in Sports Management by the European International University. 

 

This distinguished academic recognition is a testament to his unwavering dedication and outstanding contributions to the advancement of sports in Malaysia, notably in hockey and karate.

 

He was also appointed Chef de Mission of the Malaysian contingent to the 31st SEA Games Vietnam 2021. 

 

“On behalf of the Olympic family in Malaysia, I would like to extend our heartfelt congratulations to Datuk Wira Dr. Nur Azmi Ahmad on being awarded the Professional Doctorate in Sports Management,” said Tan Sri Dato’ Sri (Dr.) Mohamad Norza Zakaria, President of OCM and Vice President of OCA.

 

“This honour is not only a personal milestone for Datuk Wira Dr. Nur Azmi Ahmad but also a source of pride and inspiration for the Malaysian sporting community.”
