Astana, Kazakhstan, July 22, 2025: A four-strong delegation from the OCA - headed by Wissam Trkmani, Director of Development & International Relations - visited the capital of Kazakhstan, Astana, on Tuesday, July 22 for a two-day inspection ahead of the 6th OCA Athletes Forum and Asian Games for All project in September 2025.
The OCA team visited the Radisson Hotel Astana, which will be the venue for the forum on September 2-3, and the Park Inn by Radisson Astana, which is within walking distance and where the participants will be accommodated.
Kazakhstan NOC also hosted the OCA team in its Astana headquarters for a preparation working group meeting.
The NOC delegation comprised Mr Alimzhan Akayev, Secretary General; Mr Nurlan Nogerbek, Director General; Ms Anara Syzdykova, Director of the International Relations Department; Ms Gulnaz Shukenova, Director of the PR and Marketing Department; and Mr Bektur Kiyatbay, Director of the Sports Department.
The two sides discussed a number of issues such as visas, logistics, the hotels, the forum setup and the cultural programme in order to prepare a flawless reception for all forum participants.
Registration for the 6th OCA Athletes Forum will officially close on Friday, July 25, 2025.
The other OCA representatives are Jeans Zhou Jian, Director of Media & Broadcast; Anil Reddy, IT Manager; and Jamyang Namgyal, Manager of the Athletes Department.
