Tashkent, Uzbekistan, July 22, 2025: The Secretary General of the National Olympic Committee of Uzbekistan, Oybek Kasimov, addressed volunteers who will participate at the FIVB Boys U19 World Volleyball Championship in Tashkent from July 24 to August 3.
As part of the preparations for the U19 World Volleyball Championship, the Uzbek NOC Secretary General gave a pep talk to the volunteers who will be at the forefront of the event, and be ambassadors for the country.
The event was also attended by the leadership of the country’s volleyball federation and other senior sports officials.
A total of 24 teams from all five continents will participate in the event. It will be the first time that Uzbekistan will be hosting an FIVB event.
