Singapore, July 15, 2025: The Singapore National Olympic Council Athletes Committee held an event entitled “SEA You at the Games” over the weekend.
The workshop was conducted for athletes by athletes, and 100 athletes from 35 National Sports Associations took part.
Three panels covered different phases of preparation for a major games - pre-games, during games time and post- games – and representatives from Safe Sport Singapore and anti-doping shared their perspectives, too.
Terry Tay, an elected member of the OCA Athletes Committee and former national team gymnast, shared his thoughts on the event.
“My takeaways: Strength is found in the struggle/grind and, more importantly, in the sharing of life experiences both in and outside of sport,” Terry posted.
“We reflect the people whom we choose to surround ourselves with, and be influenced by, and
“Life after sport can seem daunting (it still is for me at times), and it is absolutely ok to ask for help.”
Terry concluded: “Shoutout to our dream team who came together to make this event a success! Thankful, too, for the athletes who showed up and actively participated. SEA you all soon!”
