Doha, Qatar, July 15, 2025: The Team Qatar Summer Programme 2025, organised by the Qatar Olympic Committee, continued its dynamic activities for the second consecutive week.

Designed for the sons and daughters of QOC employees who are aged between 8 and 12 years, and supervised by the QOC’s Sports Events Department, the programme offers a comprehensive experience that integrates sport, education and Olympic values.

Participants also visited the 3-2-1 Qatar Olympic and Sports Museum to explore the history of sport, discover diverse cultures and engage in interactive and inspiring exhibits that foster awareness and appreciation of the Olympic Movement.

On Tuesday, July 15, the "Little Rider" event will take place at the Qatar Equestrian and Modern Pentathlon Federation, where the children will learn about different horse breeds and take part in supervised horseback riding sessions.

Among the other sports involved were archery and shooting, as well as a session designed to teach basic self-defence skills held by the Qatar Boxing and Wrestling Federation.

Programme coordinator Ahmed Ishaq Al Hashemi emphasised that the initiative aims to make constructive use of school holidays by engaging children in valuable physical, cultural and sporting experiences.

He underscored the QOC’s ongoing commitment to this age group, noting the importance of integrating Olympic values into youth development while fostering self-confidence, character and personal growth.
