Jerusalem, Palestine, July 14, 2025: The Palestinian Kickboxing Federation concluded a workshop for coaches from various governorates at the Al-Bireh Municipal Hall on Saturday, July 12.
The Palestine Olympic Committee reports that the workshop began with a series of theoretical lectures on the skills and responsibilities of the coach, kickboxing equipment, training for beginners and formulating a training programme.
The theoretical aspect was followed by a practical application of training methods and skill preparation for players in basic techniques and combat categories specific to kickboxing.
The workshop witnessed a remarkable turnout of accredited male and female trainers from clubs and centers affiliated with the kickboxing federation, in the presence and under the supervision of Samir Athamneh, president of the federation, his deputy Tamer Bakr and board members Ahmed Zeir and Wassim Shamlawi.
Athamneh expressed his delight at the turnout of male and female coaches participating in the workshop, which is being held as part of the federation's annual agenda. The workshop aims to qualify and prepare coaches from all governorates, which will positively impact the development of kickboxing.
Athamneh also thanked all participants and the coaches' committee for the excellent organisation and supervision, appreciating Al-Bireh Municipality's hosting of this sporting activity.
