Jerash, Jordan, July 13, 2025: HRH Prince Feisal bin Al Hussein, President of the Jordan Olympic Committee, attended the Olympic Day 2025 celebrations held in Jerash Governorate on Saturday, July 12.

The event began from the Colonnaded Street in the ancient city of Jerash, where the Olympic flame was lit by national taekwondo athletes Zaid Mustafa and Juliana Al-Sadiq.

The celebrations also included a number of sports with the attendance of Jordanian sports stars.

The Arabic version of the IOC’s Let’s Move slogan for this year’s Olympic Day – Yalla Netharik – was the initiative launched by the Jordan Olympic Committee.

Yalla Netharik aims to encourage individuals to engage in regular physical activity, highlighting the positive impact of sport on physical and mental health, and enhance the role of sports in building more cohesive and vibrant societies.
