Tehran, Iran, April 12, 2020: Five Iranian basketball players have been shortlisted for the FIBA Asia Player of the Year.
The five are: Mohammad Jamshidi, Bahnam Yakhchali, Hamed Haddadi, Malek Rostampour and Navid Rezaeifar.
Fans will vote online and pick the FIBA Asia Player of the Year.
Iran’s men’s basketball team qualified for the Tokyo 2020 Olympics as the highest-ranked Asian team at the 2019 FIBA World Cup in China, marking the country’s return to the Olympics after a 12-year absence.
