Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, July 8, 2025: The Olympic Council of Malaysia has announced the appointment of the Chef de Mission and three Deputy Chefs de Mission for the 33rd SEA Games in Thailand this December.

Olympic swimmer Nurul Huda Abdullah will be Chef de Mission, assisted by Deputy CDMs Dato’ Kenny Goh Chee Keong, Nazmizan Mohamad and Jivan Mohan.

Nurul Huda Abdullah, the newly elected Vice President of OCM, is an iconic Malaysian swimmer who rose to prominence in the 1980s.

She represented Malaysia at the Seoul 1988 Olympic Games and holds the record for the most medals won by a Malaysian athlete at the SEA Games, with an incredible total of 32 medals comprised of 22 gold, eight silver and two bronze across three consecutive editions in 1985, 1987 and 1989.
