Hong Kong, China, July 6, 2025: The Secretary General of the National Olympic Committee of Cambodia, Mr. Vath Chamrouen, was a member of a delegation to visit Hong Kong and view the new sports facilities.
Mr. Vath, who is also Vice Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Morodok Techo National Stadium in Phnom Penh, accompanied the head of delegation, Dr. Chun Sopheap, Secretary of the Ministry of Economy and Finance and Chairman of the Board of the National Stadium.
The Cambodian delegation went on a study tour of Kai Tak Sports Park, which has been built on the site of the former international airport. The tour included the Kai Tak Arena and Kai Tak Stadium.
The visitors learned about the management of the main stadium in particular and also how to use the venue to bring in revenue from not only sports events but also non-sports activities such as concerts and festivals.
