Vientiane, Laos, July 2, 2025: The National Olympic Committee of Laos has announced that it will compete in three sports at the OCA’s 3rd Asian Youth Games in Bahrain this October.

The three sports are E-sports, Judo and Jiujitsu, according to a social media post by NOC Laos on Tuesday, July 1.

“Let’s encourage our athletes, too,” said the NOC, whose President is Assoc. Prof. Dr. Phout Simmalavong.

Like all the NOCs in southeast Asia, Laos will have a busy final quarter of 2025, with the AYG in Bahrain from October 22-31 and the 33rd SEA Games in Thailand in December.
