Dubai, United Arab Emirates, June 29, 2025: The United Arab Emirates National Olympic Committee in collaboration with the UAE Karate Federation organised International Olympic Day celebrations in Dubai last Wednesday, June 25.
HE Faris Mohammed Al-Mutawa, UAE NOC Secretary General, emphasised the importance of this annual event to promote Olympic values and physical activity.
The UAE NOC Secretary General also praised the vision of HH Sheikh Mansour bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, NOC President, in aligning the event with the 2025 theme "Let’s Move", encouraging a more active society.
Distinctive karate performances were exhibited by young children reflecting the community interaction and the spirit of the celebrations.
The annual celebration has had a significant presence in recent years highlighted by the display of the Olympic Day slogan on the Burj Khalifa, the world’s tallest building, contributing to a significant presence on social media.
