Mongolia NOC Secretary General welcomes 'Asian Games for All' campaign

Ulaanbaatar, Mongolia, June 21, 2025: The Secretary General of the Mongolian National Olympic Committee, Enkhbat Badar-Uugan, is looking forward to the "Asian Games for All" promotional campaign in Ulaanbaatar as he firmly believes it will strengthen ties with the OCA and the Aichi-Nagoya 2026 Asian Games.

“Meaningful participation strengthens our ties with the OCA and the organisers of the Asian Games. When we fully engage in these initiatives, we demonstrate our respect for the broader mission of the OCA – about building lasting relationships within the Asian Olympic family,” noted Badar-Uugan.

“We are ready to be active collaborators. It fosters mutual trust, facilitates smoother coordination and opens the door for future cooperation and support,” he added.

Ulaanbaatar has the reputation of being the coldest capital city in the world with temperatures often below -40 C. But the sun is blazing fiercely and the forecast is bright for Sunday and Monday, June 22-23, when the latest leg of the Asian Games for All campaign will be held.

Mongolia NOC is fully involved in all three aspects of the Asian Games for All campaign – Fun Run, Youth Reporter Project and Children’s Art Competition.

“A 100 percent commitment is essential and it plays a unique and important role in connecting our youth with Olympic values. By fully embracing all aspects of the campaign, we ensure that young Mongolians are engaged not just physically but creatively and intellectually as well,” said Badar-Uugan.

The Mongolian NOC Secretary General, who won an Olympic gold medal in boxing at Beijing 2008, said his NOC had always supported the Asian Games, having also been involved in this same campaign for Hangzhou 2022.

“We are very proud of our active and consistent participation in the Asian Games for All campaign. The MNOC strongly believes in the value of inclusion, unity and cultural exchange that this campaign promotes. From Hangzhou to Aichi-Nagoya, it has been an honour to showcase our young athletes, engage our communities and contribute to the broader Olympic spirit that unites Asia.

“Our involvement reflects not only our commitment to sport but also our dedication to the values of friendship and solidarity across nations,” Badar-Uugan added.

Mongolia will be the fifth NOC to host the Asian Games for All campaign ahead of Aichi-Nagoya 2026, following Bhutan, Tajikistan, Brunei Darussalam and Uzbekistan.
