Singapore, June 21, 2025: Maximilian Maeder and Zeanne Law were named Sportsman and Sportswoman of the Year for the first time at the Singapore Sports Awards 2025 on June 20, the Singapore National Olympic Council reports.

Kitefoiler Maeder, Olympic bronze medallist at Paris 2024, had previously won the Sportsboy of the Year award for three consecutive years, while wushu exponent Law picked up the Sportsgirl of the Year accolade in 2024.

“Tonight, we celebrated the heart, hustle and heroism of our sporting community — and honoured those who have gone above and beyond in flying the Singapore flag with pride.”
