Seoul, Korea, June 18, 2025: The National Olympic Committees of Mongolia and Korea have signed a Memorandum of Understanding to strengthen cooperation between the two NOCs.
The MoU was signed in Seoul on Tuesday, June 17 by Battushig Batbold, President of Mongolia NOC, and by Ryu Seung-min, President of the Korean Sport and Olympic Committee.
The MoU outlines collaboration in areas such as the development of athletes and coaches, sports science research and human resource exchange as well as advisory and consultancy for an Olympic Stadium in Mongolia.
“During the meeting, I shared Mongolia’s intention to bid for the 2030 Youth Olympic Games and expressed our readiness to cooperate in research and planning related to sports infrastructure development, including working with professional institutions to design and build new sports facilities,” IOC Member Battushig said in a social media post.
“President Ryu Seung-min emphasized his delight in the signing of this MoU, which he believes will further enhance the cultural and sporting ties between our two nations.”
