Phnom Penh, Cambodia, June 15, 2025: The President of the National Olympic Committee of Cambodia, Dr Thong Khon, was the chief guest at the 13th Phnom Penh International Half Marathon on Sunday.
His Excellency Dr. Thong Khon was joined by the Secretary General of NOCC, Vath Chamroeun, and other leaders from the government and sports movement.
Although the half marathon was the main attraction, there were other runs of shorter distances over 10km, 5km and 2.5km to involve members of the public and especially children.
As a result, 5,000 people from Cambodia and overseas from 42 countries took part in the half marathon, which raises money for charity and promotes tourism.
