Hanoi, Vietnam, June 11, 2025: The President of the Vietnam Olympic Committee, Minister Nguyen Van Hung, hosted the 5th Executive Committee meeting for the term 2021-2026 in Hanoi on June 4.
The VOC President and government minister recognized the relentless efforts of the Olympic Committee over the past six months in promoting sport at all levels, from elite athletes in high-performance activities through to grassroots in communities.
He also acknowledged the close cooperation between the Olympic Committee and government agencies, National Federations and local authorities which has helped to promote training and education through sport and contributed to the overall success of the sports movement in Vietnam.
The delegates also discussed the preparations for the 33rd SEA Games to be held in Thailand this December and other upcoming international sporting events.
