Kathmandu, Nepal, June 8, 2025: The President of the Nepal Olympic Committee, Jeevan Ram Shrestha, bid farewell to Rahul Darshan, a modern pentathlon athlete, who left for Greece on Friday, June 6 to attend the 65th International Session for Young Olympic Ambassadors.
The Nepal NOC President gave his best wishes to Darshan at the farewell ceremony at the NOC Headquarters, and reminded the athlete that he was representing the country at an international forum.
The International Session for Young Olympic Ambassadors will be held from June 7-19. The programme offers a unique opportunity and once-in-a-lifetime experience for young athletes to experience a multicultural environment which enhances international understanding.
More than 175 young people from 105 countries are expected to participate in the programme run by the International Olympic Academy.
