Amman, Jordan, June 2, 2025: HRH Prince Faisal bin Al Hussein, President of the Jordan Olympic Committee, flagged off the start of the Jordan Rally held in the Dead Sea region.
Prince Faisal, who is also Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Jordan Motorsport Federation, was accompanied by Her Royal Highness Princess Sara bint Faisal at this fourth round of the Middle East Rally Championship which began from the Royal Automobile Club of Jordan.
Prince Faisal was also accompanied by his two sons Prince Abdullah and Prince Mohammed the following day as he was briefed on the technical and organisational preparations for the rally stage.
The JOC President inspected the competitors’ maintenance area and expressed his satisfaction at the facilities afforded. A total of 28 drivers and navigators took part in the rally.
Prince Faisal stressed the importance of the Jordan Rally in consolidating the Kingdom’s position as a leading sporting destination regionally and internationally. He praised the tremendous efforts of the organising committee saying it reflected Jordan’s distinguished reputation for hosting major events.
