Muscat, Oman, May 29, 2025: The Oman Olympic Academy held a course on "Contemporary Trends in Sports Management" at the Oman Olympic Committee from May 26-28.
The three-day course is part of the Academy’s continuous efforts to develop and empower national sports cadres and enhance institutional performance in alignment with Oman’s Sports Strategy and Oman Vision 2040.
Dr. Ishaq Ahmed Al-Balushi, Director of the Oman Olympic Academy, highlighted the importance of training for sports institutions and discussed emerging trends and how to benefit from them.
A total of 30 participants from various sports federations, including the Oman Committee for Deaf Sports, figured in the course.
The course was conducted by Dr. Abdul Rahim Muslim Al-Darwishi, Associate Professor of Sports Management and Sports Policy at the College of Education, Sultan Qaboos University.
