Tashkent, Uzbekistan, May 21, 2025: The Secretary General of the National Olympic Committee of Uzbekistan, Oybek Kasimov, and the head of the country’s Archery Federation, Major General Rustam Djurayev, welcomed top archery officials at the NOC Headquarters in Tashkent on Monday, May 19.
The visiting officials included the Secretary General of World Archery, Tom Dielen; the President of the Russian Archery Federation, Zorigto Mankhanov; and the Vice President of the Archery Association of Korea, Chan Yonsul.
During the meeting, the development of archery in Uzbekistan, the organisation of international tournaments and other areas of cooperation were discussed. A number of proposals and initiatives in this regard were deliberated.
The visitors expressed confidence that archery in Uzbekistan would soon hit the bullseye in international competitions.
