Manama, Bahrain, May 8, 2025: The Secretary General of the Bahrain Olympic Committee, HE Faris Mustafa Al-Kooheji, welcomed Mukhammad Khumoyun Ibragimov from Uzbekistan at the BOC Headquarters on Tuesday, May 6.
Mr. Ibragimov had previously served as the Vice President of the Executive Committee for the 3rd Asian Youth Games, which was later transferred from Uzbekistan to Bahrain by the Olympic Council of Asia.
The Asian Youth Games will now be held in Bahrain from October 22-31.
The BOC Secretary General expressed his delight at Mr. Ibragimov’s presence, noting the importance of benefiting from his experience.
The meeting comes within the framework of continued cooperation between the BOC and its Uzbekistan counterpart aimed at the successful hosting of the Asian Youth Games.
