Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, May 6, 2025: The Vice President of the Saudi Olympic and Paralympic Committee, Prince Fahd bin Jalawi bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, welcomed an official delegation from the Heilongjiang provincial government in China at his office in Riyadh last week.
The meeting discussed Chinese experience in the field of winter sports and the fact that Heilongjiang Province hosted the 9th Asian Winter Games in Harbin in February.
Saudi Arabia will host the next Asian Winter Games in Neom in 2029.
Discussions revolved on how the Saudi Olympic and Paralympic Committee can closely cooperate with the Chinese sports authorities and draw on their vast experience in light of the Asian Winter Games in 2029 as well as the Asian Games in Riyadh in 2034.
China also hosted the last Asian Games 2022 in Hangzhou.
