Thimphu, Bhutan, May 5, 2025: The Bhutan Olympic Committee paid a heartfelt tribute to all teachers in the Kingdom on Teacher’s Day on May 2.
“On this Teacher’s Day, the Bhutan Olympic Committee joins the people of Bhutan in expressing our deepest respect and appreciation to those who dedicate their lives to guiding others – not only in classrooms but also on training grounds, fields, gyms and in every quiet corner where learning takes place,” the BOC posted.
“To all the school teachers who pour their hearts into their lessons, thank you. To the coaches who spend countless hours developing character through sport, thank you. To the sports instructors who encourage our youth to believe in themselves, and push beyond limits, thank you. To the technical experts and silent contributors who ensure that everything runs smoothly, your role, though often unseen, is deeply valued,” the BOC stated.
The BOC added: “This Teacher’s Day, we say with all humility, whether you shape minds through books, mould characters through sport, or nurture hearts through care – thank you. The dreams of our youth are being built on your strength, your sacrifice and your love. And, for that, we are endlessly thankful.”
