Tashkent, Uzbekistan, May 5, 2025: The National Olympic Committee of Uzbekistan has congratulated the national judo team for a successful outing at the 2025 Asian Judo Championships in Bangkok, Thailand.
Uzbekistan finished runners-up to Japan in the individual medal count securing two gold medals and two bronze, underlining the country’s strength in judo in Asia.
The event, from April 25-27, was attended by Otabek Umarov, First Deputy Chairman of Uzbekistan NOC, Secretary General Oybek Kasimov and the Chairman of the Uzbekistan Judo Federation, Azizjon Kamilov.
The senior officials congratulated the Uzbek judokas for a successful participation in the continental championships.
