Nagoya, Japan, April 30, 2025: The Director General of the Olympic Council of Asia, Husain Al Musallam, signed a three-party agreement for the 20th Asian Games in Aichi-Nagoya, Japan at the Nagoya Tokyu Hotel on Wednesday, April 30.
The partnership agreement saw Tobu Top Tours travel agency sign up as the official travel partner for the Asian Games in 2026.
Tobu Top Tours Co. Ltd. was represented by its President, Yasushi Karakita, and the organising committee by AINAGOC President Hideaki Ohmura, Governor of Aichi Prefecture.
Tobu Top Tours will provide the buses for the intricate transportation system for the Asian Games, which will gather 15,000 athletes and officials from the OCA’s 45 National Olympic Committees.
Captain Husain said: “On behalf of the Olympic Council of Asia I would like to appreciate Tobu Top Tours President Mr. Karakita for his continued and tremendous support for the Aichi-Nagoya Asian Games 2026.
“I would also like to thank the AINAGOC Chairman, Mr. Ohmura, and his team for their hard work daily.”
Captain Husain congratulated AINAGOC and Tobu Top Tours for signing the partnership agreement and said it was a “great honour” for the 20th Asian Games in Aichi-Nagoya 2026.
“Tobu Top Tours is recognised as a leading company that has supported various sporting events, including the Tokyo 2020 Olympic Games, not only in the travel industry but also in many other operational aspects of the Games,” Captain Husain added.
He said the partnership agreement marked another step forward on the road to the 20th Asian Games, which will run from September 19 to October 4, 2026.
“We expect that Tobu Top Tours will bring its valuable experience and knowhow to this Games,” Captain Husain concluded.
