Thimphu, Bhutan, April 30, 2025: The Bhutan Olympic Committee has extended its heartiest congratulations to Ms. Sarita Maya Mongar and Ms. Tilu Maya Powrel for their outstanding achievements at the 2nd Asian Yogasana Sport Championships held from April 25-27 in New Delhi, India.
The BOC posted: “In their international debut, they made Bhutan proud by winning two silver and three bronze medals, competing among 200 athletes from 21 countries. Their achievement helped Bhutan secure 10th position overall – a remarkable milestone for our nation.”
The BOC added: “We are inspired by Sarita’s dedication as a teacher promoting wellness through yoga and Tilu’s passion in advancing yoga practice in Gelephu. Their success is a true reflection of hard work, perseverance, and national pride.”
