Dubai, United Arab Emirates, April 29, 2025: The President of the United Arab Emirates National Olympic Committee, HH Sheikh Mansour bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, participated in a ceremony to felicitate athletes who competed in the 3rd GCC Beach Games Muscat 2025 earlier this month.
Sheikh Mansour praised the UAE contingent for returning home with its best-ever performance, winning a total of 23 medals, including eight gold, and proudly raising the national flag on an international stage.
“We congratulate the Emirates delegation for achieving the best result in the history of the games,” Sheikh Mansour said.
UAE won eight gold medals, eight silver and seven bronze medals.
The UAE NOC noted the impressive progression of results. At the first GCC Beach Games in Bahrain 2010, five medals were won; in the second edition in Qatar 2015, 10 medals were won. Muscat 2025 was the best with 23 medals.
Sheikh Mansour and the UAE NOC Board of Directors took a commemorative photograph with the medal-winning athletes at the end of the ceremony.
