Male, Maldives, April 28, 2025: The Maldives Olympic Committee, in collaboration with ARC Maldives (Advocating the Rights of Children), conducted a safeguarding information session.
The session was primarily for Executive Committee members, coaches and staff of National Sports Associations with the aim of reviewing and enhancing the draft of the Safeguarding Policy.
The session, held on April 23-24 at Henveyru Rasmee Boalhage, underscored the importance of fostering a safe and inclusive environment for all stakeholders in sport.
Participants provided valuable insights and constructive feedback, contributing to the development of a robust and comprehensive policy. The discussions focused on aligning the framework with international best practices while ensuring its relevance and applicability within the Maldivian context.
