Manila, Philippines, April 24, 2025: The Philippines’ men’s curling team, who made global headlines by winning gold at the Harbin Asian Winter Games in February, are planning their next move on the international stage.

The Curling Winter Sports Association of the Philippines announced this week that “Curling Pilipinas” will make their third consecutive appearance at the Pan Continental Curling Championships 2025 in Minnesota, USA in October.

Following their promotion to the A-Division after an undefeated run in the B-Division at the 2024 event, the Philippine men's team will now compete against top-tier nations such as Canada, Japan and the United States.

The team, led by skip Marc Pfister, vice Christian Haller, second Enrico Pfister, lead Alan Frei and alternate Benjo Delarmente, aims to build on its momentum from Harbin 2025 and further its Olympic aspirations for Milan-Cortina 2026.

This major victory in Harbin not only boosted the team’s confidence but also solidified their reputation as serious contenders in the sport.

Meanwhile, the women's team with Katie Dubberstein at the helm is determined to top the B-Division standings in 2025 and hopes to secure promotion to the A-Division for the following year.

Team Philippines' continued participation in the pan continental championships underscores the nation's growing presence in the global curling community. With a blend of seasoned players and emerging talent, the team is poised to make a lasting impact on the sport's international stage.
