Bhutan NOC praises cricket association for hosting ICC coaching course

Thimphu, Bhutan, April 21, 2025: The Bhutan Olympic Committee has congratulated Bhutan Cricket for hosting the upcoming ICC Level 3 Coaching Course for the first time.

 

The International Cricket Council Level 3 Coaching Course will be held from April 27 to May 1 in the capital Thimphu and will feature coaches from 14 Asian countries and regions.

 

They are: Bangladesh, Hong Kong China, Kuwait, Malaysia, Nepal, Oman, Pakistan, Qatar, Sri Lanka, Saudi Arabia, Singapore, Thailand, United Arab Emirates and hosts Bhutan.

 

“It is truly inspiring to witness Cricket World Cup players among the participants of this course. We are proud and delighted to see Bhutan Cricket hosting the ICC Level 3 Coaching Course for the first time,” the Bhutan Olympic Committee posted on Facebook.

 

Among the star turnout is Sri Lanka’s World Cup-winning batsman Sanath Jayasuriya and Pakistani duo Azhar Ali and Muhammad Hafeez.

 

“We deeply appreciate the dedication and effort put into making this possible. Tashi Delek and our best wishes to all involved,” the BOC added.
