Lahore, Pakistan, April 13, 2025: The Pakistan Olympic Association participated in the International Day of Sport for Development and Peace by holding a #WhiteCard campaign.
The President of the POA, Arif Saeed, Secretary General Muhammad Khalid Mahmood and Senior Vice President Fatima Lakhani were among the POA officials who participated in holding up a white card.
One of the main messages highlighted in the campaign was UNICEF’s plea to help 460 million children who are living in conflict-affected areas across the globe.
Athletes and a number of senior officials of National Sports Federations also participated in the campaign holding up a white card in support of this message.
The #WhiteCard campaign underscores the multi-faceted role of sport in society, promoting a healthy lifestyle, facilitating access to sport and driving development in regions affected by conflict, hunger and inequality.
