Taipei, April 10, 2025: The Chinese Taipei Olympic Committee is proud to announce its participation in the International Day of Sport for Development and Peace on April 6 by launching the #WhiteCard campaign.
The #WhiteCard campaign underscores the multifaceted role of sport in society, promoting a healthy lifestyle, facilitating access to sport and driving development in regions affected by conflict, hunger and inequality.
Since 2019, the CTOC has actively engaged in this global movement by inviting prominent athletes and coaches to participate in the #WhiteCard campaign. Athletes will hold up a white card, symbolizing peace, and share their photos on social media with the hashtag #WhiteCard.
The committee will also share its campaign results with Peace and Sport, showcasing the collective community engagement.
Following the precedent of previous years, the Peace through Sport Committee of the Chinese Taipei Olympic Committee fully supports and encourages the participation of athletes and coaches to join the #WhiteCard campaign.
On April 6, the International Day of Sport for Development and Peace, the CTOC also encouraged the public to participate in the White Card campaign to spread the positive energy of sport through the Internet and use the power of sport to eliminate confrontation and hatred, and work together to promote social harmony and world peace.
