Vientiane, Laos, March 27, 2025: The National Olympic Committee of Laos has held a meeting with national sports federations to discuss preparations for the 33rd Southeast Asian Games in Thailand this December.
Delegates were informed that the 33rd SEA Games will be held in three provinces - Bangkok, Chonburi and Songkhla.
There will be a total of 50 medal sports and three demonstration sports, with 34 sports taking place in Bangkok, 12 in Chonburi and nine in Songkhla. Some of the sports will be held in two of the host cities.
The opening ceremony of the 33rd SEA Games Thailand 2025 is on December 9 and the closing ceremony on December 20.
The NOC and national federations exchanged ideas on logistics and participation in order to make smooth preparations for the SEA Games, which is held every two years.
