Amman, Jordan, March 26, 2025: HRH Prince Faisal bin Al Hussein, President of the Jordan Olympic Committee, inaugurated the Asian Wrestling Championships on Tuesday, March 25.
Held for the first time in Jordan, the Asian Wrestling Championships welcomes more than 390 male and female athletes from 39 countries and regions. The event, which will end on March 30, is being held at the Princess Sumaya Hall in Al Hussein Youth City in Amman.
The Jordan Wrestling Federation has carried out all preparations to ensure the event is run smoothly.
It also hosted the Asian Wrestling Federation General Assembly where the President of the Jordan Wrestling Federation, Eng. Mohammed Al-Awamleh, was elected President of the Asian governing body.
