Amman, Jordan, March 5, 2025: HRH Prince Faisal bin Al-Hussein was re-elected as President of the Jordan Olympic Committee at the General Assembly in the capital Amman.
Prince Faisal, who is also an Executive Board member on both the IOC and OCA, was re-elected unanimously following the JOC Executive Board elections.
The JOC Executive Board also welcomed members HE Yazan Al-Shdeifat, Minister of Youth, Her Excellency Mrs. Suhair Al-Ali, Jihad Al-Qutishat and Mohammad Alayyan.
Recently retired taekwondo star Juliana Al-Sadeq and boxer Uday Al-Hindawi will represent the athletes on the JOC Executive Board.
Ten members representing national sports federations were also elected to the executive board. They are HRH Princess Alia bint Al Hussein (equestrian), HRH Princess Ayah bint Faisal (volleyball), HRH Prince Nayef bin Asem bin Nayef Al Hashem (boxing), Mohammad Al-Awamleh (wrestling), Mrs. Zein Malhas (basketball), Saleh Al-Ghuwairi (gymnastics), Dr. Tareq Al-Khayyat (cycling), Khaled Naffa (tennis), Dr. Taysir Al-Manat (handball), Loay Omeish (football).
